Well, a reputable Valve insider has come out to confirm that isn't quite the case. And with the release (and ending) of Half-Life: Alyx back in March 2020, it seemed that we were finally getting a little closer to Half-Life 3. Fans have clamoured, speculated, and pleaded for the follow-up for almost a decade and a half. Half-Life 3 is itself a meme and has been since Half-Life 2: Episode Two debuted all the way back in 2007.
